Traditionally, we've been decorating our tree on Christmas Eve. As a matter of fact, when I was a child, seeing the Christmas tree for the first time was one of the best presents every time. This year, however, we were given a tree way sooner, and although the tree still spent a formidable amount of time laying around in solitude on our porch, we finally lit up the house and the tree on the day of Winter Solstice . . .
